The globally-renowned World Press Photo Exhibition returns to the Scottish Parliament this autumn. It will be on display between Monday 19 October and Saturday 7 November.

One of the world’s leading showcases of photojournalism and documentary photography, the World Press Photo Exhibition 2026 presents the award-winning images and stories that have captured some of the most significant events, issues and experiences shaping our world today.

Prominent themes in this year's free exhibition include: the global overstep of power, the climate crisis, and conflict, but also resistance, rebuilding, recovery, and resilience.

Join World Press Photo Curator Beatrice Harbour for an exclusive tour and in-depth look at some of the themes and images in this year’s exhibition from a number of regions across the world including Africa, Asia and South America.

The tour will have BSL interpreting.
